Candle Safety and Care Tips:
Sometimes, candles burn hot and too quickly, resulting in a wax pool that can extinguish the flame. If this happens, try using a paper towel or napkin to soak up some of the excess wax. Then wait until the wax has solidified a little, relight your candle, and repeat until your wick has room to breathe
Please make sure to never leave a burning candle unattended, and always extinguish when leaving or going to sleep. Before burning your candle, trim the wick down to 1/4-1/8" to ensure a clean burn,( Note: You may not need to cut the wick before every burn.) This will also help with an even wax pool so you don't have built-up wax on the outer edges of your candle. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch on fire, and be mindful of keeping candles away from furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, decorations, etc. Discontinue burning the candle when it reaches 3/8" of wax left. This will prevent the dough bowl from cracking or splitting. Keep burning candles away from drafts, AC units, fans, or any other type or air current. Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room as well. Never move or touch a candle when the wax is still liquid, and keep all candles out of reach or children or pets. Melted wax is very hot and may cause burns.
